If you’re like most people, you probably have at least one PS4 saved data file. Whether it’s your save data for a game or just some personal files, backing up your PS4 is a must-do if you want to keep your game progress safe and sound. To backup your save data on PS4, first make sure that you have the necessary software installed on your computer. If you don’t have it, we recommend downloading it here. Once you’ve installed the software, open it and click on the “Backup” button. Once the backup is complete, openPS4 again and select “Save Data” from the main menu. You’ll now be able to see all of your saved data in a new window. To restore any of these files, simply click on them and select “Restore.”
